Management Team

Yossi Beinart - Chief Executive Officer and President

Yossi Beinart has over 20 years of executive management and development experience at financial services and technology firms. Prior to joining Nadex (then HedgeStreet), Yossi served as Director of Technology at IG Group. Before IG, Yossi was the Chief Technology Officer of Portero Inc., where he was responsible for creating the auction system for Portero's luxury goods marketplace. From 2000 to 2004, he was CEO and President of ShieldIP, a venture backed firm which developed a patented Digital Rights Protection solution for software and music. Prior to ShieldIP, he served as Managing Director and CIO of Investment Technology Group (NYSE: ITG), a leading provider of equity-trading services and transaction research to institutional investors and brokers. At ITG, he managed worldwide technology and product development. Mr. Beinart holds a BSc in Computer Science from Hebrew University.

Debra Rabichow - Chief Operating Officer

Debra Rabichow is the newest addition to Nadex, joining after successful careers as COO and Partner at Goldenberg, Hehmeyer and Co., SVP, Global Head of Clearing and Settlement at FXMarketSpace, VP of Operations at Citibank, Smith Barney, and Drexel Burnham Lambert, and most recently as an independent consultant, amongst others. Her 20+ years of Professional Experience include muli-dimensional experiences in leading strategic and tactical initiatives and the development and deployment of information technology solutions. Ms. Rabichow is skilled at dealing with complex business challenges related to growth and business development. A results oriented leader with a proven track record of forging strategic alliances, identifying and applying creative solutions and a positive customer experience.

Peter C. Lee - Head of Sales

Prior to transitioning to his new role as Head of Sales, Peter Lee served as Nadex's Chief Operating Officer since 2008. Mr. Lee has been in the futures and options business since high school, when he worked for Merrill Lynch on the floor of the Chicago Board of Trade. After college, Mr. Lee traded equity options on the CBOE and then spent 20 years with Merrill Lynch, last serving as Co-Chairman and President of Merrill Lynch Futures. He has since been consultant/CEO for Merchants' Exchange and a consultant for the CBOE. His extensive service with industry associations, boards, and committees has included the executive committee of the Futures Industry Association; several CFTC advisory committees, including the Futures Industry Association's Chairman of the Single Stock Futures committee; the board of Broker Tec; and the board and executive committee of the CBOT. Mr. Lee holds a BS in business administration from Menlo College.

Timothy McDermott - General Counsel

Timothy McDermott comes to Nadex with over seventeen years of litigation and compliance experience in the financial markets. Prior to joining Nadex (then HedgeStreet), Timothy was Director and Compliance Counsel with the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME). At the CME, He was responsible for enforcement of Exchange trade practices and conduct rules. Prior to the CME, Timothy was with Gardner, Carton & Douglas, where he was a partner for seven years and focused on financial markets litigation. Mr. McDermott earned his JD from Loyola University School of Law after graduating from the University of Notre Dame, where he majored in Accounting.

Sharon Brown-Hruska - Director

Dr. Sharon Brown-Hruska is a Vice President of NERA Economic Consulting, where she focuses on securities, derivatives, and risk management issues. Prior to joining NERA, Sharon served as Acting Chairman (2004-2005) and Commissioner (2002-2006) of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission ('CFTC'). Prior to joining the CFTC, Sharon was a Research Fellow at George Mason University's Mercatus Center, and an Assistant Professor of Finance at George Mason University's School of Management and the Freeman School of Business at Tulane University. She holds a PhD and MA in Economics from Virginia Polytechnic Institute.

John Collins - Director

John Collins is an experienced trial and appellate attorney, practicing at Collins & Collins in Chicago, Illinois. John began his legal career at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, and then joined the office of the United States Attorney for the Northern District of Illinois. As an Assistant US Attorney from 1992 until 1997, he prosecuted bank fraud, securities fraud, and other white collar crimes. In addition, John has served as general counsel for the United States Soccer Federation, Inc. and currently serves as a member of the FIFA Legal Committee. John studied accountancy at the University of Illinois and earned his JD from University of Chicago Law School.

Peter Hetherington - Director

Peter Hetherington has been Chief Operating Officer and a director of IG Group Holdings, plc since 2002. Peter's role is focused on driving forward a number of significant strategic projects, such as the highly successful launch of the online financial dealing system. Prior to his current role, he was head of financial dealing at IG, starting in 1999. Peter was an officer in the Royal Navy before joining IG Index, as a graduate trainee, in February 1994. Peter studied Economics at Nottingham University and has a Masters in Finance from the London Business School.

Andrew MacKay - Director

Andrew Mackay has been Legal Counsel for IG Group since 1999. Prior to the IG Group, Andrew was market investigations manager at LIFFE. Andrew qualified as a lawyer and worked at Linklaters for seven years where he was principally focused on litigation and financial services practices. Andrew has a Masters in History from St Andrews University and completed the Law Society Finals examination at the College of Law in London.

Robert Kolb - Director

Professor Robert Kolb joined the Board of Directors effective July 1, 2010. He is a Professor of Finance and the Frank W. Considine Chair of Applied Ethics in the business school at Loyola University Chicago. Professor Kolb's career spans almost three decades as a finance professor and includes appointments at the University of Florida, Emory University, and the University of Miami. Recently he was Professor of Finance and Assistant Dean for Business and Society at the University of Colorado at Boulder, where he led the school's program in business ethics. He has published more than 50 academic research articles and more than 20 books, including the recent publication of the sixth edition of Understanding Futures Markets and the fifth edition of Futures, Options, and Swaps (both with James A. Overdahl). Professor Kolb also is the general editor for the five-volume Encyclopedia of Business Ethics and Society.
